Open-air cinemas
If you are considering re-digitizing your cinema, you can use the older technology just for the open-air cinema and offer the audience a double experience. But there are other ways to invite viewers to the open-air cinema in the summer. If you are not thinking about buying new technology or re-digitizing, you can rent technology for the open-air cinema from us. This is how we technologically supported open-air cinemas in Prague on the Smíchovské Nábřeží embankment, in the garden of Czech Radio Regina or in Děčín.
The Šumava cinema in Klatovy was also re-digitized, the original 2K projector being replaced by a 4K digital projector with a resolution of 4096x2160. Thanks to European subsidies, it was possible to reconstruct the open-air cinema, the original technology from the Šumava cinema having been moved there. Thanks to re-digitization, the Šumava cinema increased its capacity to 240 seats and the open-air cinema to 450 seats.
