Projection screens are an integral part of every data projector installation. The projection surface directs light from the projector to the viewer, increasing the brightness and contrast of the image. You can choose from several types of modern projection screens, which differ in design. Each projection screen is suitable for a different activity.
Types of projection screens:
In order to achieve the best image quality, optical projection surfaces are used, directing the light through optical layers from the projector to the viewer; the rest of the light in the room is therefore absorbed. Optical projection surfaces include, for example Parallax by Projecta and Supernova by DNP.
In addition to optical projection surfaces, there are also surfaces intended for high-resolution image projection – Projecta HDProgressive. An important feature of these surfaces is a special coating, which does not have such a pronounced structure as ordinary white canvas. In the case of this structure, the incident light is distorted and the image pixels are lost. HD Progressive surfaces are produced with several gain values (0.6–1.3), for all gains they have a super wide viewing angle of 170°.
