Control systems

Using control systems, the installed AV technology, as well as other technologies in a room or building can be easily and intuitively controlled.

The control system can control, for example, lighting, blinds, heating, cooling or air-conditioning. The main brain of the system is the industrial controller, which controls the connected equipment through communication ports. Controller types differ in the number of these ports and in CPU power. Modern controllers are connected to a computer network and the internet, so it is possible to integrate not only the technology of one room, but also the entire building, regardless of geographical location.

An important element of the system is also a touch-controlled LCD panel or keyboard, with the help of these devices the user can control the installed technology. A graphical application is loaded on the touch panel, including buttons, sliders and status indicators. By pressing a button, the user invokes either a function or a sequence of functions. For example, pressing the button labelled “Presentation” turns on the projector, retracts the screen, switches the video input, closes the blinds, and adjusts the lighting intensity.

Touch panels are produced in different screen sizes – from small 5" to more than 12". These system panels are connected via cable, but there are also wireless ones. Their installation depends on the user’s requirements and the panel can be placed on a stand on a table, hung on the wall or you can embed it in the wall. You can also use a tablet with the Apple iOS or Android operating system to control it.
